The new Paperlung single DO WHAT THOU WILL / WHERE WERE YOU THEN? will be released on MONDAY JANUARY 16TH.
This will be followed by a Huw Stephens Radio One session to celebrate the tenth birthday of the bands label - Shifty Disco.
There will then be three special live dates - part of Shifty Disco’s tenth anniversary celebrations:

FRI 26th JAN - LUMINAIRE, KILBURN
SAT 27th JAN - ZODIAC, OXFORD
MON 29th JAN - LOUISIANA, BRISTOL.

Unfortunately, The Hub in Cheltenham has closed its doors, so the Cheltenham gig has had a change of venue.
It will now be at the SLAK bar. Same town, same night, same band:
Paperlung, in Cheltenham, on John Peel night, 12 October.

The band will be back out on the road this autumn, starting with:

SATURDAY 16th SEPTEMBER at THE BARFLY, CAMDEN

This one-off date will be followed by a short tour in October.
The dates are:

4th OCTOBER - NORWICH ARTS CENTRE
6th OCTOBER - ALDERSHOT WEC
12th OCTOBER - CHELTENHAM HUB (John Peel night gig)
14th OCTOBER - MARR’S BAR, WORCESTER
19th OCTOBER - TOUCAN CLUB, CARDIFF
27th OCTOBER - CLUB VELOCITY, READING

The band will be spending the winter months recording tracks for their debut album which is scheduled for release in Spring 2007.
In the meantime, the double A side single - DO WHAT THOU WILL / WHERE WERE YOU THEN? will be released in January.

In September/October, the band will be out on tour again to promote their second - double A side - single DO WHAT THOU WILL / WHERE WERE YOU THEN? which will be released in January.
These dates start with a charity double header on Saturday 2nd September.
In the afternoon the band will be appearing at the Chilton Festival in Buckinghamshire - in support of the British Heart Foundation - then later in the evening they will be appearing at Emma’s Day in Chipping Norton - in support of Emma’s Trust.

Paperlung will be on the Janice Long show on Radio 2 this Thursday 22nd June.
The show starts at 12.00am (i.e. midnight on Wed) on Thurs and will feature the band performing an acoustic set.

&

31st May at THE DUBLIN CASTLE

After that, the band will be recording two more tracks for a late summer release and taking some time off to watch the World Cup and get sunburnt and drunk.

Thankyou to everyone who came along to each of the gigs on the tour and made the whole thing so memorable for us. Just from talking to people after each show we know that many of you travelled big distances to see us, so we want to say that we really appreciate it.
Our next gig is a Shifty Disco night at The Luminaire in London on 3rd May.
The line up is (headline first): The Race, Paperlung, Seagull Strange, My Device.

THE DAYS THAT GOD SOLD YOU will now be released on April 10th but you can pre-order it from SHIFTY DISCO right now.
Or you could always come along to one of the current tour dates (see below) and buy a copy straight from a member of the band. They will be carrying copies with them on all dates. So, if you want to get ahead of the pack and get your single several weeks early, get down to the gigs clutching your two pound coin and the single is yours.

There have been a couple of changes to the tour date listed below.
The Southampton Mono semi-acoustic gig has now been postponed and will be re-scheduled, hopefully for the end of May.
In its place, an extra date has been added on TUES 28th March at The Railway Inn in Winchester.
